  1. Added “Estimated Spin” display for indoor shots where the dot was not detected on the ball. It is displayed with an asterisk character next to the spin. A tooltip hint also gives more information.

  1. Indoor results are now displayed faster with an X2 running the latest firmware.
  2. The camera target line selection has been renamed to “Boresight Camera View”. The user cannot click on the target anymore. The sensor now has to be rotated.
  3. A link to TeamViewer remote support has been added to the F10->Help menu.
  4. FlightScope Firmware Writer v4.0.1 is bundled with the installer.
  5. FlightScope Troubleshooter v1.7 is bundled with the installer.

  1. Integrated with the BodiTrak pressure mat. Note: Each BodiTrak mat must be activated separately on each PC it will be used with. The pressure mat recording time is calculated automatically. The length can be adjusted by pressing F10->Sensor->Pressure Mat Recording Length.
  2. New D-Plane view on the Club Analysis screen.

Changes from v6.0.9 to v8.0

New features:

  1. “Swing Training” has been added to the main menu. Practice swings without hitting the ball.
  2. Added multi language support. Languages are:
    • Chinese (Simplified)
    • English
    • French
    • German
    • Japanese
    • Korean
  3. Added a new language selection dialog that displays on startup if a language has not been selected.
  4. New summary and detailed reports for publishing
  5. A custom report logo can be set through F10 -> Publishing -> Advanced -> Custom Report Logo…Supported file formats: jpg, bmp, png and emf.
  6. Screen publishing now has screen thumbnails that can be selected/deselected for publishing.
  7. New “Slow Swing Speed Mode” for players with low swing speeds. F10 -> Sensor -> Slow Swing Speed Mode. This setting goes back to disabled when the software is restarted.
  8. Ellipses are now used for the shot groupings. Circles can still be used. Set it in F10 -> Display -> Grouping
  9. The distance that the FlightScope sensor is from the tee can now be detected by using a FlightScope X2’s built-in camera. Click on the target line camera icon at the top right and then on “Tee Distance”
  10. New “Ball Compensation” feature for outdoor mode. Click on the ball icon top right to toggle between range balls and normal balls. Shots hit with “Range Balls” selected will then simulate what the ball trajectory would have looked like if a normal ball was used.
  11. This version is compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro. Windows RT is not supported.

  1. The “rated by” option used on the session results screen is saved in the session xml file.
  2. Updated the driver optimizer and ball fitting reports.
  3. Activation has new separate fields for the address.
  4. The display language can also be set from the activation dialog.
  5. FlightScope v7 needs to be activated even if FlightScope v6 was activated.

  10. The “Battery is low” warning message can be disabled in the ini settings file.
  11. An updated FlightScope Media Player is included that has error logging.
  12. Shot playback for indoor mode now also works if the video recording is enabled.
  13. Added “AVR Firmware Version” to the System Info dialog and also renamed “Firmware Version” to “DSP Firmware Version”.
  14. All balloon messages are now also saved in the log file.
