At the 2017 Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City last week, the FlightScope Strike was used to collect data for the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners competing in the finals for the National Championship. In the end, Oklahoma came out victorious, capturing its second straight national title. The FlightScope Strike is just making its debut in the softball world but two of the top softball programs in the country, LSU and UCLA, already use this technology for player improvement and data collection during games and practice sessions.
