Congratulations to Bryson DeChambeau on winning the John Deere Classic! Bryson overcame a four-stroke deficit to win his first PGA Tour title this past weekend. With the win, he earned a two-year tour exemption and secured a spot in the British Open. “Bryson’s work ethic and unique approach to golf is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and all of us at FlightScope are thrilled for him,” said Alex Trujillo FlightScope USA Sales Manager & Application Specialist. “I’ve been fortunate enough to work closely with Bryson over the past two years and be able to witness his passion and enthusiasm for the game.” Bryson has been a long-time FlightScope user and uses FlightScope to look at vertical swing plane (VSP), club path, and face angle as a starting point to get his swing dialed in. Other FlightScope features that are used by Bryson and his team are the speed and acceleration profiles. These profiles allow them to understand what shafts perform the best and are most consistent, which is especially useful with a driver. Bryson’s victory moved him 63 spots to No. 81 in the Official World Golf Rankings, making it the first time he is in the top 100. What a tremendous milestone!
