FlightScope X2 On Display At The Ricoh Women’s British Open

ORLANDO,FL , (July 28, 2011) - FlightScope, the world's first ever 3D Doppler tracking radar for golf, will see its flagship model the wireless X2 golf launch monitor be used in this year's Ricoh Women's British Open played on one of Scotland's finest golf courses, Carnoustie.

After being successfully featured earlier this month at the men'sBritish Open and receiving rave reviews from both pros and spectatorsalike, FlightScope was invited back to provide the best women golfers inthe world in depth , accurate analysis on how their equipment andswings will stand through the tough test that Carnoustie is sure toprovide.

FlightScope will have wireless X2's with IPads setup on the practice teethis whole week allowing pros to warm up and gauge exact distances foreach club in their bags, including average, minimum and maximumdistances. This allows for final adjustments to their equipment andapproach before teeing off at the Carnoustie links course at the 2011Ricoh Open.FlightScope uses its advanced 3D tracking technology todisplay some of the finer details in the golf swing and ball flightdisplaying more than 20 data parameters and with its full wirelesscapability some players might even take it with them while playing theirpractice rounds.
