Environment Test App

The Environment Test Application is a very useful tool to help establish the cause of interference in a certain area.
It allows you to get live feedback from the radar in terms of what it sees.
While having it running you can point the radar in different directions to identify the source.

Steps:

Connect to X3, X2, Xi or Mevo2 hot spot or Ethernet.
Open the Enivornment test app FlightScope Environment Test App
Select the IO Device Type: Change it from Serial Port to TCP and connect to the appropriate sensor (192.168.2.1 if on WiFi)
Note that the Find Devices might not always work if you have more than one network connection (Ethernet and WiFi)
The Firmware version and Tilt and Roll should show up to confirm that you are connected.
Note that the Find Devices might not always work if you have more than one network connection (Ethernet and WiFi)
Click on Start Test and allow it to run for a while to start getting readings
Example of a good environment: the graph would be green
Example of a bad environment: the graph would be orange or red
Use a metal mesh to cover equipment with cooling fans to see if the reading changes
Switch off equipment and lighting until you can see on the graph which one made the difference.
