Senior Support and Design Engineer - Orlando, FL:

Provide installation and maintenance support to EDH (US) LLC's highly proprietary technology products. Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to fabricate equipment and make necessary modifications. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications. Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment. Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical engineering instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and/or systems. Identify components of technology equipment that are susceptible to repair needs and address problems. Utilize internal EDH (US) LLC processes and procedures with regard to radar unit manufacturing, custom developments, tracking devices, and golf coaching techniques.

Test, program, and trouble-shoot the installation of the FlightScope products. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Maintain and increase knowledge and training by keeping abreast of new technology and trends. Monitor functioning of equipments to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Serve in a critical role of developing, implementing, and writing the installation and maintenance of procedures for EDH (US) LLC.

Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, systems, material, and utilities. Assist in sales situations with technical presentations or as a technical resource. Prepare technical reports to upper-level management and managing professional level suggestions necessary to address client needs and to provide for maximum effectively and effectiveness based upon his professional knowledge and expertise. Confer with engineers to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products. Must have three years of experience in the Electrical Engineering Technology field. Knowledge required in Windows, Mac osX, Linux Distributions including Red, Linux Distributions including Redhat and Ubuntu, Networking Admin, Desktop Support, Pastel Accounting, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio, C, C#, Java, Delphi, Assembler, PHP, MySql, XML, SOAP, AXIS, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Design, PCB Layout, Diagnosis of Circuit Boards, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Multimeter and Soldering. Domestic and international trips for projects, on a needed basis. 40 hours per week; 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
