FlightScope On The Tee At The BMW PGA Championship 2012

ORLANDO, FL - May 24, 2012 – FlightScope, creator of the world’s first 3D tracking radar for golf, will be in action at the 2012 BMW PGA Championship held at the Wentworth Club in Surrey, England from 24 -27 May.

FlightScope will have its tournament system setup on the 1^st tee Thursday and Friday and on the spectacular 18^th tee on Saturday and Sunday. Player driving data will be displayed on large digital scoreboards and give fans in the grand stands a peek at their favorite player’s drives. FlightScope data will be displayed in real time and includes the ball trajectory with landing spot, ball speed, club speed , apex height, spin rate, launch angle and carry distance.

The BMW PGA Championship is the flagship event on the European Tour and usually attracts a star studded field and with this year being no different, the top 3 players in the world will be in action giving fans the ultimate glimpse into what it takes to be a top ranked player in the world.
