Target Market

The FlightScope Kudu was aimed at the satisfying the needs for indoor club and ball tracking with outdoor capability. Application areas included the golf retailer, and on-course golf professionals doing teaching and equipment selection.

Uses and Benefits

The FlightScope Kudu is phased array Doppler tracking radar unit that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Even though the Kudu is an earlier model of the current X2, it still utilizes the best technology available today to provide a cost effective solution. Data parameters such as Carry Distance is typically within 2-4 yards for driving distances of 250+ yards. On shorter distances such as 150 yards the Kudu achieves even greater accuracy by measuring shots within 1-2 yards.

Functionality

The FlightScope Kudu tracks the club movement in 3D, for both indoors and outdoors, without having to put any markers onto the club itself. Not only does FlightScope Kudu measure club head speed at impact, it also measures the club head speed profile throughout the strike zone, allowing it to also measure the angle of attack in both vertical and horizontal directions.

The PC software provided with the FlightScope Kudu provides the following data parameters:
