An add-on option to the Mevo Gen2 or Mevo+ that gives access to more data parameters powered by FlightScope's patented Fusion Tracking technology.
Face Impact Location adds additional data parameters and features:
Lateral impact
Vertical impact
Heat mapping
*Mevo Gen2 or Mevo+ not included
The FlightScope Mevo Gen2 and Mevo+ uses Advanced Fusion to record the Face Impact Location on your shots. FlightScope's Patented Advanced Fusion Tracking feature requires sufficient lighting to collect accurate data.
The minimum light measurement in your hitting area to achieve this is 300 lux. Because this is the minimum requirement, we recommend lighting the area so that you achieve a lux reading higher than 300 with a lux meter in an area with a 3 foot (approximately 0.9 meter) radius measured from the hitting location.
Face Impact Location is a software add-on and therefore is non-refundable.

Love the face impact add-on. Getting more and better data from my sessions is a game changer!
It is very accurate. I checked the location with foot spray on my clubs. It was easy to order and I didn’t have any difficulty getting it to work with my new Mevo Gen 2
Would recommend either noting or changing the UI that when you enter the license number for the pro package, you need to press enter to activate the button that actually submits the license number to FlightScope. I did not know that you had to press enter first and THEN submit and I thought my code was invalid for several minutes.
Face impact gives me a much better indication of why the ball flights where it does. A shorter distance for a club? I look for a toe hit. Very informative
It is critical to know where the golf ball connects with the face of the club. This feature really helps you become aware of the club head at impact. Once you begin to feel what toe and heel shots feel like it translates to the course as we try to adjust during a game .
Although the flight scope was an amazing simulator my space that I had just did not allow for it. What I really appreciated is there understanding a return policy. If I had the space definitely would have not returned.
I had my Mevo+ almost a year before I added the face impact location. In retrospect I could have saved a lot of frustration if I would have purchased it from the start. It is well worth the cost and provides valuable insight into your ball strikes. I’ve gone from, “that didn’t quite feel right” to “that was a bit off the toe” — which is much more actionable data. Yes, if you play a lot you get a feel for where your strikes are on the face, but nothing beats hard data.
Should have gotten it earlier. Has helped me with my impact location. Some shots I think I hit clean then look at screen and hit it toe, high. If you don’t have it, get it.
It has helped me develop the feeling to know where I am hitting in the club face and be more aware of adjustments. Invaluable for anyone looking to improve

The Heat Mapping Visualization gives you a complete overview of your session by showing the visual distribution of your impact points on the clubface. You can review this heat map for any club—except the putter—to see exactly where you strike the ball most often.
Heat Mapping Visualization is available on FS Golf PC, FS Golf iOS (iPad and iPhone), and FS Golf Android (tablet only).
Shot Grouping

Your Questions Answered
FlightScope’s Patented Advanced Fusion Tracking requires a minimum of 300 lux to capture accurate Face Impact Location data. For the best results, we recommend a consistent reading above 300 lux within a 3-foot radius of the hitting location.
No, Pro Package is not required in order for the Face Impact Location add-on to work with your Mevo Gen2 or Mevo+.
Face Impact Location is an add-on feature that shows the precise spot where the ball makes contact with the club face for every shot. It enhances your analysis by matching the visual impact location with your shot data and introducing three key features:
Lateral Impact: Measures how far toward the heel or toe the ball struck. Vertical Impact: Measures how high or low the ball struck relative to the sweet spot.
Heat Mapping: Visualizes your overall consistency and strike patterns over a session.
The Heat Mapping feature aggregates all shots from your session into a single visual overlay on the clubface. Instead of analyzing individual shots, it uses color-coded clusters to show your overall shot distribution, helping you instantly identify your most consistent impact points and recurring miss-patterns for any specific club.
