Golf Simulator Videos Visits FlightScope at the 2026 PGA Show

Jay Lasco of Golf Simulator Videos caught up with FlightScope Content and Application Specialist Jordan Vogler at the 2026 PGA Show to find out what's new at FlightScope for 2026.

Headlining the announcements is the new FlightScope Range Gen2, purpose-built for outdoor driving ranges, indoor commercial bay installations, and golfers seeking a permanent indoor solution.

“This unit is primarily designed for outdoor range environments with multiple bays and commercial bay environments indoors,” Vogler explained. The system features power over Ethernet, eliminating the need for an internal battery and simplifying permanent installations, while a magnetic baseplate ensures easy, repeatable setup.

Range Gen2 also offers open integration, allowing operators to seamlessly connect with preferred gaming, point-of-sale, and dispensing systems for total operational control. “It’s very much open to the different range environments people have set up,” said Vogler.

Out of the box, Range Gen2 delivers 20 data parameters, includes ownership of an 8 course bundle on E6 Connect, and has the option to add the Pro Package and Face Impact Location software add-ons. An optional protective housing will also be available to help prevent theft and protect the unit from harsh weather conditions.

The system is expected to launch in June-July 2026, with a starting price of $1,699.

Alongside Range Gen2, Vogler highlighted the continued momentum of the Mevo Gen2, which has consistently sold out worldwide since its launch in August due to unprecedented demand.

Lasco praised the unit for its improved camera positioning and impact detection, while Vogler explained the unit is “at that entry-level price point where people can see improvement instantly”, noting the Mevo Gen2’s no-subscription model and transparent pricing from $1,299 as standard to $2,200 fully loaded with Pro Package and Face Impact Location.

Vogler also previewed upcoming software enhancements, including a redesigned app interface launching in March and a new feature called Smart Data Margins. Based on handicap levels, Smart Data Margins automatically provide expected performance ranges for each club. “You don’t have to manually do it for each club now, which is a huge bonus,” Vogler added.

Together, these updates reinforce FlightScope’s focus on accuracy, accessibility, and purposeful practice – whether on the range, in a simulator, or on the course.
