Skratch Has Spoken: The FS Golf App Upgrade Changes the Game (And It’s 100% Free)
When major golf media takes notice of what we’re doing, we listen. And when Skratch gear editor Ryan Barath dropped his latest review, he nailed exactly why FlightScope continues to impact the launch monitor space.
In an industry overflowing with mandatory annual software passes, fine-print subscriptions, and paywalled metrics, FlightScope has remained subscription free.
We just rolled out an upgrade to the FS Golf App; packed with smart data margins, dynamic range visuals, and pro-level video tools. The best part? It won't cost you a single cent.
"In a world full of subscription models, this upgrade is free of charge."
— Ryan Barath, Skratch Golf
What’s New in the FS Golf App?
Whether you're dialing in your numbers in a garage studio or crushing reps on the range under bright sunlight, this update was built to elevate every single session. Here’s what Skratch highlighted in their review:
Enhanced Usability and High-Contrast Light Mode
No more squinting at your screen on sunny range days. The new Light Mode delivers crisp, high-visibility graphics in direct sunlight, while the streamlined interface gets your session launched faster than ever.
Instant Setup and Faster Warm-Ups
Stop wasting time tapping through menus before hitting a ball. You can now pre-save your default club and ball choices on the FS Golf dashboard; so you can jump straight from your bag to your swing.
Normalized Data: Pure Performance, Zero Wind Impact
Ever wonder what your real carry distance is without a 15 mph headwind. Our new Normalized Data feature strips away wind to reveal your true baseline numbers, no matter what nature is doing outside.
Smart Margins and Adaptive Targets
Intelligent algorithms now adapt to your specific skill level and session data. Coupled with Interactive and Randomized Practice Targets, you can set custom distance grids or let the app randomize targets to simulate the pressure and variability of a real round.
Sleek New Video and Dual-Swing Analysis
Reviewing your motion just got a massive upgrade. The revamped video interface centralizes all your swing clips, making it effortless to compare two swings side-by-side, draw on-screen markups, and recall your best shots instantly.
Why This Matters to You (The FlightScope Promise)
At FlightScope, we believe that when you buy a launch monitor, you should own your tech and your data for life.
Our Founder and CEO, Henri Johnson, put it best:
"Continuous innovation is essential for delivering trusted performance data. We are proud to continue providing golfers and coaches with the tools and insights they need to improve their game, while remaining a trusted resource at no additional cost."
Whether you own a Mevo Gen2, Mevo+, or X3C, this overhaul automatically lands in your app updates at $0. Your investment keeps getting better, faster, and smarter; without a monthly or annual "software tax" sneaking into your bank account.
