I used my Mevo Gen2 for the first time today. I set it up on the range where I recently had a club fitting to check my distances. My club fitter set up his Foresight launch monitor to see how accurate the Mevo Gen2 was showing data. Almost all the data was dead on or extremely close with the distance varying by 3-5 yards on average. I am blown away as was my club fitter. I am sure I can dial the Mevo Gen2 in a little more with the lighting feature etc, but I used it straight out of the box and added my clubs in as “generic” clubs. Of course I updated the firmware and linked it to my phone and IPad before hitting the range. The Mevo Gen2 is extremely easy to set up and use. I brought a high quality music stand with me and used it to hold my IPad at waist to chest height. It worked perfectly. The voice feature is awesome. It tells you when the monitor is ready to go for your next swing. I couldn’t be happier. Great product.

I am super satisfied with the accuracy. So far, I have only used it outdoors with range balls. I have been tracking my yardages on course with both gps and rangefinder for the past 2 years and know my yardages. I also laser targets at the range and did so during my full swing sessions. All I can say is WOW! The Mevo Gen2 is giving me the carry distances I would have expected and shot shape and right/left dispersion have been very accurate based on the ball flight at the range. I have no reason to doubt the other data points since the ball flight, carry, and dispersion seem to be spot on. I have been researching launch monitors for 2 years and almost pulled the trigger on both high price and budget models but nothing hit my “sweet spot” for cost versus accuracy. I’m glad I waited because the Mevo Gen2 did just that. I can’t wait to compare indoor results to the data I am getting outdoors.

The new Mevo Gen2 has been great so far. The unit connects quickly and provides very accurate numbers. I immediately wanted to test the system for accuracy. I went to an open field and laser measured alignment sticks pushed into the ground with headcovers on them at 50, 100, 150 yds. I cannot express how dead on accurate these shots were measuring and matching what I was seeing. Very impressive.
